Purpose of this project

Develop a visual monitoring tool, for FCCN and users, on the RCAAP network.

Motivation for the project

Development of a tool that can help people access data on the RCAAP network in more efficient, effective and comfortable way. Its new features, that complement the tools to the day, are: a standard base evaluation on ISO 16363,

Planned roadmap

  • First Phase: Project planning
    • Establishment of the project's goals.
    • Establishment of documentation tools.
    • Early draft of the architectural model and requirements.
    • Duration: 1 week
  • Second Phase: Research and Design
    • Research on the project's technological needs and enhancement of early model draft.
    • Design of the system's requirements, architecture,tests and interface.
    • Duration: 1.5 weeks
  • Third Phase:Development
    • Definition of the development schedule and distribution of work on modules. This includes cycles of development and tests on each module.
    • Integration and tests on the tool itself.
    • Duration: 3 weeks
  • Fourth Phase: Validation and Verification
    • Installation testing and qualification. Launch and deployment.
    • Operational testing and qualification. Effectiveness according to requirements.
    • Performance testing and qualification. Efficiency test.
    • Correction and fix on unexpected issues, that may be found.
    • Duration: 2 weeks
  • Fifth Phase: Documentation
    • Development and revision on the documentation of Open Access Explorer Project.
    • Duration: 1.5 weeks
